Walnut Basil Pesto


Use this recipe for great roasted vegetables, dipping sauce for bread, pesto hummus, and fish en papillotte


  • 4 cups fresh basil, somewhat packed
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic
  • 1/4 cup walnuts
  • 3/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese


  1. Place all ingredients in a food processor or blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Add salt to taste, and blend again to combine thoroughly.
