Buffalo Hot Wing Chicken Dip

I used to make this football game-approved snack for a group of friends.  I learned to make extra to leave with the hosts – two single brothers living with a roommate.  I was told that they would try to sneak it without the others knowing so there would be more for them.  Too funny!  One brother now has the recipe and makes it himself to impress people at parties.

Here it is right before it’s about to go into the oven.  No gourmet frills here!

Ingredients

2 (10 ounce) cans of chicken

2 (8 ounce) packages of softened cream cheese (you may use reduced or non-fat.  I used regular)

1 cup Ranch Dressing

1 cup Frank’s hot sauce (you may use Texas Pete or any similar variety.  The recipe calls for ¾ cup but I like it hot)

2 Cups Shredded cheddar cheese (divided)

Methods

Put chicken in bowl and mix/chop until broken up.  Add cream cheese, ranch dressing, and Frank’s hot sauce until thoroughly mixed.  Add 1 ½ cups of cheddar cheese.

Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes

Add cheese on top and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
